Our ‘Irya’ corset & dress set is a dreamy nod to 1940s cinema, inspired by the iconic film Meet Me in St. Louis. Think bold colors, rich scenes, and that unforgettable doll like charm of Judy Garland, she looked like she’d walked right out of a peach blossom fairytale. We’ve reimagined her timeless silhouette in a way that’s both nostalgic and wearable today.
The set features a high density cotton lace dress paired with a classic corset style waist cincher, carefully designed to capture the elegance of vintage structure without sacrificing comfort. The original Victorian inspired corset used whalebone and metal wire for shaping, ours? Soft yet structured with modern resin boning that flatters the figure while letting you breathe and move with ease.
Crafted from jacquard fabric with delicate medieval inspired motifs, the corset catches the light with a subtle, sunlit sheen that almost looks gilded from afar. The final shape and length of the waist cincher took rounds of adjustments to balance that sculpted look with just the right freedom of movement, because beautiful should also feel good.
The dress itself is lined with soft pink fabric that feels gentle on the skin, while the neckline is finished with a tiny bow and hand sewn floral details that add a sweet, romantic touch. The shoulder straps? A blend of three intricate lace styles, lightly ruched for texture and comfort, with hidden anti slip bands at the back to keep everything in place, no awkward tugging needed.
A hidden zipper makes dressing effortless, and the corset’s dusty rose satin lace up ties, aged gold grommets, and classic hook fastenings are thoughtfully matched for that refined finish. The metal bell charm detail and softly draped laces give just the right amount of weight and elegance.
